Welcome to the October edition of our newsletter!

This month as we're preparing for NexGenLead - our biggest project for the year, we're excited to share with you some amazing reading content! We're happy to be given the chance to contribute to a Financial Times article covering changes currently happening in higher education. Get to know more about oikos and get a better understanding of our definition of sustainability which also defines what we do in the latest oikos publication.

In this edition we also kick off the new Alumni Impact segment where oikos Alumni share their inspiring stories. Along with that,  we're happy share the news from our partners network with a Positive Impact Rating announcement, along with upcoming conferences on sustainability in education.

NexGenLead: be a part of the three-week program on Sustainability and Leadership

NexGenLead is a free program aiming to lay the foundations of a worldwide virtual community of students to start a dialogue on leadership and sustainability, while setting the ground to practice responsible leadership competencies and, finally, take ownership of their education. Starting 31 October, you as a participant get to tailor your own experience through the program's activities with support in multiple languages. oikos International President Clementine Robert recently featured in a Financial Times article addressing the change business schools around the world are undergoing and their growing awareness of social and environmental impact. Highlighting the role of students in driving this transformation, among other influences, the article also provides the perspective and an insight into the philosophy of such business schools.
