It is a new year full of challenges and amazing opportunities ahead. We kicked off 2021 in the best way possible, with two new chapters joining the oikos family in Cairo and Istanbul. This month we're preparing ahead for the semester's biggest events with the oikos Curriculum Academy and oiko LEAP Advanced open for applicants. There are also CCI and LEAP calls where you can learn more about them.
We are also excited for the new faces joining the oikos International team in the upcoming period and are sharing with you a number of positions you can apply for right now and be one of those new faces yourself!
oikos Updates
A new oikos chapter opens in Cairo, Egypt
We started 2021 in the best way possible with the opening of a new oikos chapter in Cairo. The Egyptian capital becomes the second oikos chapter in the country following the opening of oikos Alexandria a few months back.
The third edition of the oikos Academy will be taking place entirely online, as the current situation doesn't allow for partial onsite activities. This year oikos St. Gallen is joining forces with the oikos Curriculum Change Team to bring you the workshop in a revised format compared to last year. The traditional open day is now stretched to four days with a session each day. There's an exciting program awaiting, so make sure to apply in time!
oikos LEAP Advanced 2021 Cohort awaits new participants!
The applications for this year's oikos' flagship Leadership Program - LEAP Advanced are now open! The nine-month journey begins in march and over its course, a number of webinars and workshops aim to inspire young people to become more responsible and sustainable in their decision making and equips them with insights, knowledge, and tools to do so. Take a leap in your personal development and apply to be a part of the program!

Join us for the first Curriculum Change Call of the year where we'll be discussing student surveys with examples from some oikos chapters' experiences! It's a great chance to discuss and exchange on various aspects of curriculum change between chapters and individuals looking to drive change in education towards sustainability.
