Welcome to the March edition of our newsletter!

This month we take a look back at the oikos Curriculum Academy and share with you a plethora of new opportunities awaiting in April. The 10th milestone edition of our flagship program FutureLab is coming soon, so you can both join as a participant or hosting a workshop. We also highlight the upcoming Community Hours which, for the first time, will be followed by a 'Alumni Apero'.

If you wish to get involved in oikos Curriculum Change activities, there is an upcoming CC Squad Meeting but also an opportunity to get coached by LEAP Researchers' Track participants. Based on last year's NexGenLead, the Responsible Leadership Squad is also kicking off soon. Finally we share some exciting opportunities from our partners network.

Democratized, Innovative and Sustainable Education for the Future – oikos Curriculum Academy 2021 in retrospect

The third edition of the oikos Curriculum Academy took place online last month. Hosted jointly by our Curriculum Change Team and oikos St. Gallen, the three-day workshop welcomed an international audience, focusing on transforming economics and management education through integrating burning social and environmental issues. This special edition also featured LEAP Researchers' Track participants supporting oikos chapters' in their curriculum change efforts.

FutureLab 2021: Justice Shift – Building a passage for a just world

Join us for the milestone 10th edition of FutureLab from April 23 to 25. Our flagship event is taking place online for the first time ever with the focus on justice shift. The FutureLab 2021 will explore ideas and best practices on establishing justice in the transition to a sustainable world – environmentally, economically and socially. It will create a space to discuss justice and a just transition and will provide a stage for stakeholders to communicate their claims.

This year we want to open up a world of opportunities at the FutureLab! We are looking to provide space for more people to take part in creating the milestone event. That means that anyone can apply can and get the chance to host a FutureLab workshop on any topic related to sustainability in economics and management education!

Join us for oikos Community Hours next Tuesday!

The oikos Community Hours take place on the first Tuesday of each month. The upcoming April edition will be addressing the community platform and internal communication within the oikos Community, both from a more creative and a more pragmatic perspective. It will be followed by a 'Alumni Apero' as the space for the oikos Alumni to exchange.

Responsible Leadership Squad

We're delighted to announce the latest oikos Thematic Squad - Responsible Leadership Squad. Based on our NexGenLead program, the squad will meet to exchange and discuss on leadership competences. It is open for all members and alumni from the oikos Community.

Curriculum Change Coaching

Members of oikos chapters will be able to partake in coaching sessions where they will be coached on bringing curriculum change at their universities by the participants of LEAP Researchers' Track. Apply now!

Curriculum Change Squad Call

Join our Curriculum Change Squad for another call on April 30. In the upcoming call you'll get to learn and discuss the concept of degrowth. A part of the session will also be dedicated to Curriculum Change Coaching.
